Become a DC Mentor

DC mentors are law firm Partners, Managing Partners, Attorneys and Owners across practice areas in the USA, the UK, India, Canada and Australia, and Founders, CEOs, CFOs and CTOs of start-ups and established companies, alongside leaders in sales, marketing and business development. They share what is working in their markets right now with professionals and students building careers.

  • Speak at DC meet-ups, webinars and conference panels
  • Take occasional one-to-one conversations with members and campus ambassadors
  • Appear on the DC Mentors page with your industry focus and LinkedIn profile

What we ask

  • You are a law firm Partner, Managing Partner, Attorney or Owner, or a Founder, CXO or sales, marketing or BD leader at a company
  • You give time when your schedule allows. There is no fee and no fixed time commitment
  • No selling from the stage. Mentors share experience, not pitches

Apply

The application takes about five minutes. Please have these ready:

  • A two to three line bio, as you would like it to appear on your DC Mentor profile
  • Your LinkedIn profile URL (required) and Instagram URL (optional)
  • A high-resolution head-and-shoulders photograph, at least 1000 x 1000 pixels, on a plain background

What happens after you apply

  1. You receive a confirmation email from DC Community straight away.
  2. Our team reviews your application against your LinkedIn profile, usually within five working days.
  3. We email you to confirm your place on the DC Mentor board and share how your profile will appear on the DC Mentors page.
