Plan before you spend

Marketing Strategy Services

A marketing strategy should tell you three things: who you are selling to, why they should choose you over the alternatives, and where your next pound, dollar or rupee of budget should go. Most businesses we meet have plenty of activity and very little of that clarity. We help you put it in writing, test it, and turn it into a plan your team can run.

Marketing strategy for businesses that have outgrown guesswork

Our clients range from early-stage startups looking for their first repeatable channel to established companies whose growth has stalled. We have built strategies for software firms, manufacturers, healthcare providers, hospitality brands, retailers, education businesses and professional services firms. Each market behaves differently, so we never start from a template.

We start from your numbers instead: where current customers came from, what they were worth, how long they took to decide, and which channels brought in work that was actually profitable.

Where we start

Positioning first, channels second

Choosing channels before you are clear on positioning is how budgets get wasted. We interview customers, review lost deals and study the competitors your buyers compare you with. That work produces a clear statement of who you serve, the problem you solve better than anyone else, and the proof you can point to. Only then do we decide whether the plan should lean on search, social, email, partnerships, events, outbound sales or a mix.

What you get

A written plan your team can act on next Monday

You receive an ideal customer profile, a positioning and messaging framework, a channel plan with budgets and owners, a 90-day action list, and a simple dashboard that tracks the measures that matter to your business. Everything is written so that your own staff, a new hire or another agency can pick it up and execute it without needing us in the room.

Our Process

How we build a marketing strategy with you

A typical strategy project takes four to six weeks. It is a working process rather than a long report: you see findings as they come in, and decisions are made together along the way.

01

Discovery

We review your sales data, existing marketing, website analytics and competitors, and interview customers and members of your team. The aim is to understand what is already working before recommending anything new.

02

Positioning and audience

We define the customers worth pursuing, the problems they want solved and the message that will make them pay attention. This becomes the foundation for every campaign, page and sales conversation that follows.

03

Channel and budget plan

We recommend the channels, budget split, timelines and owners, along with the targets each channel needs to hit. Where something is unproven, we design a small test before you commit real money to it.

04

Launch and quarterly review

We help you launch the first 90 days and then meet each quarter to review results against the plan. If you want us to run the execution as well, our specialist teams can take that on.
