Turning a dormant social presence into a client source

The accounts were active. Activity and demand are different things, and generic destination content produces the first without touching the second.

What the client was dealing with

A travel agency had social accounts that existed but contributed nothing commercially. The content was competent and about travel in general, which is the same content every competitor publishes.

Nothing on the accounts said what this agency specifically sold or who it was for, so there was no reason for a follower to become an enquiry.

How the engagement ran

01  Discover

Ran a working session with the owner to establish the actual offer, the margin on it, and which customers were worth attracting.

02  Diagnose

The accounts were marketing a category, not a business. That produces reach without intent.

03  Design

Rebuilt the content strategy around the specific trips the agency sold and the buying triggers behind them.

04  Deliver

Executed the content and community work against that positioning, with enquiry routes visible on every profile.

05  Develop

Set the response process so enquiries arriving through social were handled the same as any other lead.

06  Demonstrate

Tracked attributed enquiries alongside engagement, which is what showed the strategy shift rather than the posting increase was doing the work.

Reach is not demand

If the accounts are busy and the pipeline is not, the problem is positioning.
